Ditches / Mounds Part 2
After Georges fantastic job of procedurally generating the side detail meshes so we can have ditches and mounds it was time to sort out the final visual look. It is one thing having the mesh ready to use, but another thing splitting up parts into materials to make them look nice with the game.
Whilst messing about with the materials we noticed that the water body generation automatically created some water in the bottom of one of these ditches which looked quite good. We decided that this was going to be a good bang-for-buck effect and invested a bit of time into it to make ditches have the option of being filled with water as a feature.
